This beautiful young lady sat cool as a cucumber while I took her photo in a Nubian Village in Aswan Egypt. She lives on an island in the middle of the Nile called “The Nubian Village”. I photographed her at her school. This portrait can be compared to Steve MCCurry’s “Afghan Girl” which appeared on the cover of National Geographic in January, 1985.
