We are delighted to offer a free proof of any image you upload via our upload page. This image will be evaluated by our master printer. Any issues which he may encounter will be discussed with you via email prior to printing the proof. . No editing work will be performed on your image prior to printing.
Please do not send the image attached to an email and be sure to upload the image in a hi-res jpg or tif format. Image size should be the exact size you want printed and notated in the file name as follows: example - “todd_williams_sunset_2.tif”, or “todd_williams_sunset_2.jpg.
Delivery of the proof - If you live within driving distance of our studio, we encourage you to pick-up your proof in person. Please call ahead and arrange an appointment, and if necessary a more robust consultation. We can also mail the proof to you in an 8” x 10” envelope for your approval.
We charge $ 7 to mail a photo proof via USPS to anywhere in the Continental US. If you live or work in Southern Maryland we encourage you to pick up the proof at our place of business - 7606 Easton Club Drive, Easton MD 21601. Picking up the actual printed proof will allow you and us to make changes in person. Covid restrictions are in place, however, please be vaccinated.
Approval to print - If you approve the proof, send us an email that you approve of the proof. Note: we need to know your finished size, material and method of finishing for the final print. These items will be needed for us to create a custom quote.
Editing of your photo - Frequently images sent to us for a proof need some editing. We are willing to make these changes, however we strongly encourage you to make the fixes to your photo yourself.
Editing charges - If you request editing of your photo, our fee is $50 per hour, and must be paid in advance.
Final print charges for a custom finished print - Our quote to you, after we evaluate your photo will be the only fee for a print, a framed print, and shipping. Large framed or finished prints may incur a packing charge if the finished size is greater than 16” x 20”, but this is unlikely. Our quote will normally include any packing charges and will also include the transportation fee.
Image ownership - Your photos are your photos. SteveLingeman.com will not resell or distribute you photos to anyone without your written consent. We retain all submitted photos for future orders in a secure environment.
Copyright - We assume that all orders you submit to us for printing are copyrighted by you and we will treat those photos accordingly.
Use of our website -You may access and use the site solely for your personal, non-commercial use. Except as expressly authorized hereunder, the site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, reverse-engineered, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the written authorization of Steven L. Refunds - We aim to satisfy all of our customers. If you are unhappy with the final print, framing for any print you receive from us, we will refund your purchase price less any shipping charges we have incurred sending the product to you. To receive a refund, you must ship the product back to us. A full refund will be issued within 10 days of our receipt of the returned item. This refund policy applies to prints, framed prints or any other merchandise you may have purchased from SteveLingeman.com.
If you have enrolled in one of our workshops, and do not wish to attend we will refund your workshop fee provided you have not attended any of the classes or workshops. If you attend the first workshop session and are dissatisfied or otherwise think you can not continue, we will refund you workshop fee within 10 days of your notification of withdrawal from the workshop. No refunds for a workshop fee will be granted after you attend the second session of the workshop. Please note: the successful completion of building out your website is primarily dependent on your preparation of the content and materials deeded to fulfill your intent of creating a website for yourself or your business. We will guide you, but in the end it is your responsibility to prepare the materials for use with the SquareSpace platform.

Please do not send the image attached to an email and be sure to upload the image in a hi-res jpg or tif format. Image size should be the exact size you want printed and notated in the file name as follows: example - “todd_williams_sunset_2.tif”, or “todd_williams_sunset_2.jpg.
Delivery of the proof - If you live within driving distance of our studio, we encourage you to pick-up your proof in person. Please call ahead and arrange an appointment, and if necessary a more robust consultation. We can also mail the proof to you in an 8” x 10” envelope for your approval.
We charge $ 7 to mail a photo proof via USPS to anywhere in the Continental US. If you live or work in Southern Maryland we encourage you to pick up the proof at our place of business - 7606 Easton Club Drive, Easton MD 21601. Picking up the actual printed proof will allow you and us to make changes in person. Covid restrictions are in place, however, please be vaccinated.
Approval to print - If you approve the proof, send us an email that you approve of the proof. Note: we need to know your finished size, material and method of finishing for the final print. These items will be needed for us to create a custom quote.
Editing of your photo - Frequently images sent to us for a proof need some editing. We are willing to make these changes, however we strongly encourage you to make the fixes to your photo yourself.
Editing charges - If you request editing of your photo, our fee is $50 per hour, and must be paid in advance.
Final print charges for a custom finished print - Our quote to you, after we evaluate your photo will be the only fee for a print, a framed print, and shipping. Large framed or finished prints may incur a packing charge if the finished size is greater than 16” x 20”, but this is unlikely. Our quote will normally include any packing charges and will also include the transportation fee.
Image ownership - Your photos are your photos. SteveLingeman.com will not resell or distribute you photos to anyone without your written consent. We retain all submitted photos for future orders in a secure environment.
Copyright - We assume that all orders you submit to us for printing are copyrighted by you and we will treat those photos accordingly.

If you have enrolled in one of our workshops, and do not wish to attend we will refund your workshop fee provided you have not attended any of the classes or workshops. If you attend the first workshop session and are dissatisfied or otherwise think you can not continue, we will refund you workshop fee within 10 days of your notification of withdrawal from the workshop. No refunds for a workshop fee will be granted after you attend the second session of the workshop. Please note: the successful completion of building out your website is primarily dependent on your preparation of the content and materials deeded to fulfill your intent of creating a website for yourself or your business. We will guide you, but in the end it is your responsibility to prepare the materials for use with the SquareSpace platform.
