Jim and Diane Blair

Jim and Diane owned four successful restaurants in Baltimore and Columbia, Maryland.   They began coming to the Eastern Shore in 1986 and retired full time to Easton in 2000. 

Jim is 82;  Diane is 81.   They have been sweethearts since high school and have been married for 62 years.

Jim walks the paths and streets in our neighborhood nearly every day trying to achieve over 50 miles a month.  One day I asked him “What are you listening to on your  headphones?  His answer:  “I’m listening to music and saying prayers for my dead friends.”

Jim and Diane have 5 adult children, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  I asked Diane what’s the secret to a long and happy marriage? She said: ”A small bed promotes closeness and a happy sex life.”
